Confidence in Visual Language

By 2026 I began working with a renewed confidence in the visual language that has developed in the paintings over the past several years. The imagery, scale, and symbolic elements now feel fully integrated within the work.

Rather than directing narrative intentionally, I allow form and composition to lead the process. As the structure of the painting develops, the narrative emerges naturally from the relationships between figures, animals, and symbolic elements.

This shift has brought a greater sense of clarity and freedom to the studio.
